Hot Air Balloons

One of my favorite weekends in our town! After we dropped the kids off at school M&M and I headed over to the fairgrounds to watch!

Sad to report though after we got home M&M went into meltdown mode and spent the rest of the morning sleeping...she is still sleeping now and its 11:24!

T-Man surprised Bug last night by buying a fishing license...I think T-man was very impressed by our boys knowledge of fishing and equipment at their stop last week at Cabala's!

Love Well...that is what I am trying to do Finally!

I had a great trip to my Dad and Bonus Mom's it was so relaxing and even though I am forty I still like to be treated like a kid by my Dad.

Like how he treated us to a trip to the water park and Mom and Him watched M&M so I could go Play with the older kids...I had forgotten how much fun water slides are!

Mom treated us to lunch at the "Tea Room" it was a lovely girly afternoon.

The first night there we headed down to the community pool...just a great way to kick off the week! Ya think they look a bit alike??

It shows my Dads heart. They love each other they really do!! These are the moments they will remember. Quiet conversations about nothing really at all. Its not the exact words remembered but the smells, sounds and how safe and loved you feel and felt... I like to see my Dad loving on my kids! It makes my heart sing! I really like where I am in my life right now...I like the adult perspective of people in my life and how just as I do and will make mistakes so did they...but they love me and I will take it!

I would of taken a picture with her and I together but after a little discussion decided the beans looked much prettier this morning.

I know its not much for canning but I do not have a big freezer and this would of taken up most of the space. This was my very first attempt at canning and I really like it. I have never even been in the same room as someone who was canning. So much to my personality I am sure I will TRY to grow way more than I can handle next year with big dreams of canning everything...I also think its good for my kids(girls) to see me working with and for Grandma. I also feel it is good for them to work for and with Grandma too. Thanks Grandam for providing the time to help me and the gardens to keep me busy.

Whats A Dad To Do?

TMan and Bug have the love of Baseball and spend most of the year doing that kind of stuff, yep even in Michigan.

Well TMan is always trying to find ways to relate and celebrate with Pie and they have found something. BOOKS! Most recent Wimpy Kid books! I myself wasn't to sure about this series because of the title but have since read parts and its a cute reflective story on the struggles of middle school.

Tonight is the opening of the movie based on the books and they are on their way!

They were so excited and have been counting down the days! What a blessing for Pie and what a memories TMan created! Love them both!

A fun day today!! So many pictures! Tried to capture every minute because I know I will miss these minutes when they are older. I love watching them all grow in this garden and I am sure there will be many, many pictures to follow. Don't cha just love this digital age, I do.

Finger Painting Tradition

Now I have all three kiddos finger painting at the same age, Whaa Hooo. Now my intention is to frame the art work along with the action picture. It is on my list which is slowly getting accomplished, just been working on it for 11 years :).

Fun Get Away.

This past weekend Bug was grateful and honored to be chosen to play on a town traveling team. So we packed up and headed about 2.5 hrs. south.

Granny, Papa along with KCK and Doogie were also able to meet us there. It was a good time even though M&M and I were in the Van most of the time, she was and is recovering from croup, Yuck!

Bug was on the Red team, which came in second to our other hometown team. I thought it was pretty funny to travel all that way to come in second to our own home team. They all played well and we are proud of them all! I am so glad Bug was a part of the team and especially that Granny and Papa were able to meet up with us.

What a great spring break week. There were so many highlights you will just need to flip though the photos! We enjoyed every moment with family. It was a very blessed week. Thank you to all, we felt very welcomed and loved in every ones home. I love you all soo much.

Loving Our Family

This is our most kindhearted Grandpa George with M&M. He is battling cancer right now and is none the less loving during this process. T-Man's sisters came and spent the weekend with us along with their two adorable kids. His parents also came up to and we just enjoyed them all so much. The main reason they were here was to love on Grandpa George and spend time with family.

This is T-Man with his sisters kids~don't you just love the smiles. We love them so much they are so smart and make us laugh so much!

This is one of my beautiful sister in laws. She is so great along with the other, which I only had a back of the head shot of and don't think she would appreciate it if I blogged it, they make me laugh continually. Love that about them!

And this is just some of the Love my Mom and Dad in law pour out on me. I love that about them. I don't have to ask or hint or even need they just do. They are the best no better is to be found!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today is Grandma Phyllis's 70th Birthday and we all Love her. She is a strong very lovable woman. I really like this picture of her, it just radiates her beauty! We have this picture by our front door and several girl friends have complimented the pretty girl in the picture! She is a great friend very generous and a good cook. She is always kind and very patient with me, never a harsh word. She loves to garden and read and is always willing to share a good book or her vast knowledge of plants with me. She loves her family will help where ever possible. She is my Husband's Grandma and has always made me feel welcome and comfortable. I can not express gracefully how I have come to love her, but I do and I trust her completely.

These are the first roses T-Man gave along with the note. I enjoy Valentines it is one of my favorite Holiday's. I like making Valentines for Pie's class and everything pink. Hopefully T-Man will let me share more of the love he has shown me over the years.
