Double Layered Skirt

Yea, I messed with the gears on my old machine and it is up and working for now.
I am really having fun looking up things to make on the Internet.  Especially when they give all the measurements and I don't have to go out and by the pattern's.
So I will try and supply the link to where I find the info
I did make some changes to my skirt but for me its the measurements and a push in the right direction that is needed.

Ruffled Apron

I really enjoy making the aprons but I think I will take a break from the ruffles for a while. The gathering just irritates me!
This was made for a special teacher of M&M's

On our past trip to Missouri Grandma had treated us girls to a wonderful lunch at the Tea Room. It was so soft and pretty and they had so many ideas for decorating. Pie and I fell in love with a lovely chandelier that was decorated with Flowers and lace it was so romantic. So we thought we would give it a try at home.
In person it looks quite nice. If your into the flowers and ribbon look...and we are!

Not to bad for using Dollar Tree supplies. This is not my favorite item in the house but when your house is over 100yrs old there seems to be many other priorities than replacing the chandler.

My pie here is dressed in her Maternal Grandma's communion dress. It was hand made by my Maternal Grandma. The slip is silk and the dress is all lace. She wore this dress to church today. I think she felt a pretty and a little silly at the same time.

The Skirt Not The Baby

This is my first attempt to make a cute skirt for M&M out of scraps that I have at home.  I really enjoy reading the crafty blogs and they make it look so easy to just whip something up.  Must say that on the blogs most of what I see looks like you would buy it at a cute little boutique and mine...Well I am not gonna stop trying.
The material is left over from a apron I made.  The tulle is left over from Pie's Poodle skirt.  The ribbon is from the flowers I received at church on Mothers day.  The little pompoms are from a craft box the kids won at school last year.

Apron's

This is my new thing, at least this week. I like aprons and have picked up some at resale shops but it is hard to find nice, clean ones that are the right size. Women seem to have been so much smaller 40 years ago? Its kinda funny that I like aprons but cooking is not my favorite. This was a gift and I was told she like it so now my family will be getting some for birthday and Mother's day gifts. This is hip right I see them for sale all over?

Getin My Craft On

Hum what to make what to make. To keep my sanity and because its something I like to do. I am going to try and do a crafty thing a day...
So what should you do with your old Huge TV?
Why make it into a Puppet Show!
I can see a puppet making party in our future.
