I always talk about how Bug doesn't realize it now but these father/son trips are that of a lifetime...I am so glad T-Man realises it now and makes sure it happens for them!!

Lake Michigan camping was Awesome...Time spent with two of my favorite mom's and their babies Awesome. We enjoyed hiking, swimming, campfire cooking, eating, roller blading, bike riding, beach laying(M&M was a bit curious as to why everyone on the beach was sleeping?), sunset watching, lighthouse climbing, ice cream eating.

Total good time can't wait til I can do it again!

Love Well

Love Well...that is what I am trying to do Finally!

I had a great trip to my Dad and Bonus Mom's it was so relaxing and even though I am forty I still like to be treated like a kid by my Dad.

Like how he treated us to a trip to the water park and Mom and Him watched M&M so I could go Play with the older kids...I had forgotten how much fun water slides are!

This is a picture of M&M at the end of a big slide another first for her...

Mom treated us to lunch at the "Tea Room" it was a lovely girly afternoon.

The first night there we headed down to the community pool...just a great way to kick off the week! Ya think they look a bit alike??

It shows my Dads heart. They love each other they really do!! These are the moments they will remember. Quiet conversations about nothing really at all. Its not the exact words remembered but the smells, sounds and how safe and loved you feel and felt... I like to see my Dad loving on my kids! It makes my heart sing! I really like where I am in my life right now...I like the adult perspective of people in my life and how just as I do and will make mistakes so did they...but they love me and I will take it!

The mighty fisher lady...she caught many of these and we had a wonderful fish fry a couple of days later! Oh Yeah, Gramma can fish! and cook up a mean bluegill too!

This brought happy tears for me...Reminds me of spending time at my Grandma's when my Grandpa was very sick with Alzheimer's and I would play this record, yes record over and over and over. I am sure it was driving my Grandma crazy but I can remember her only once ever asking me to take a break...she wanted to take a nap or something.

Princess to the King of Kings!

Pie just finished the Appleseed's program at our church. What a blessing. It is a bible study program for preteens. Its such a beautiful sweet program. The girls learn how to study the bible, manners, hospitality, and just how special a gift they are to God and their family!Decorating their own cake was a highlight for the girls.

Beautiful little princesses they are becoming such good, sweet friends. LOVE THESE GIRLS! Reading the Apostle Creed together.

Him my Grandpa...

They are quite an odd shape and I was having trouble trying to fill them. Well I think they turned out nice and I believe he would be happy with the display. I have been in a rut lately feeling kinda lazy, you know cause I see all these amazing women going on to school or really working hard at their job, and me what am I doing??

Well some who really know me know that I worked very hard for much of my life to get to where I am now, loving on my family! I never was very good at separating work from family and my family usually came last :(

Well anyway I love to do crafts and have put it aside for an unknown reason...

When I was very young my Grandpa, he passed when I was 13, encouraged me to draw and he would frame or mount a lot of the work. So these frames are a reminder of him and his love for me!

I do have some other things he made like a table, candle stick holders a pocket watch that was his fathers...

For many years my Mom would make our Easter dresses. I know I post a lot of the hard times but I do have some good memories and this is what I try to remember... My Mom is or at least was very talented when it came to sewing and I can still call and ask her to explain a pattern I am making and she makes it sound so easy. I like this clip because my Moms smile is just sparkling (for some reason it speeds through the last second where you see the smile on here)

I just received some discs with a bunch of old 8mm family films pieced together on them they are only short clips but I am enjoying all the good memories. My Grandma Tschida is the one behind the camera.

New Temporary Center Piece

This past summer Bugs' team won the city tournament for the 11-12yr old little league! 

See that trophy there between those two handsome ball players?  Well it usually goes to the home of the coach of the winning team.

As you can see though it is here in our home!  The coach who also won last year, bug was not on his team then...to young, likes to share it with all the players.  So from oldest, most of the older ones move up to a new team, to youngest each player has a chance to share the trophy with family and fiends for a month.

The hand off was made today, would of had a picture if my camera had worked...stupid camera, one boy was sad to see it go but one was very happy to receive.  I am glad he has a chance to share it.  The boy worked hard all season and most of them still train some during the winter.

He doesn't always get paid like this for all the hard work he puts in for sports he likes...like the time he threw up in his mouth because he was sick during the paddleton game, all his classmates were sure he would be a finalist.  Or when he just isn't as fast as some in the mile no matter how hard he trains.  Or when he gets a low B as a grade because of one hard quiz...

Something we did when the older two were small was invite their friends over for a Birthday party for Jesus. So now we have a little one again.... Some precious little ones blowing out the candles after singing Happy Birthday! Food...all parties must have food!

We celebrated Christmas a little early this year since we will be out of town on the 25th.

We always start the morning reading the story of Christs Birth.

When they were little we used picture books but now they read to us!
