The Driver Is Guilty

Here is the update for My Day in Court This whole process was a little trying for me, because I do not like conflict. To stand up for what is right and to put all my trust in God was a good test for me. I was sitting in the parking lot just praying for the Spirit to comfort me and give the words to speak, its been a while since I prayed for that. God is Good. I don't think Annabelle or I sounded like a babbling idiot, though we were both quite nervous. We just stated the facts truthfully to the best of our knowledge. The driver plead their case and used a plea of faulty brakes, which did not comfort me at all. It was a great learning experience for me. We tried to ease the driver when it was over that we understood that they did not go out and try to run anyone down. The drive did feel bad over the event and was very apologetic. It probably didn't help any that we were giggling in the hall afterwords but it was not about the driver. It was just a form of relief and a moment of bonding. It was nice for Annabelle to also be reaffirmed by the Judge, the Officers, the Driver and me on how much we appreciate her.

It's awesome to see how quickly prayer works. I'm glad that kids and Annebelle are safe.
