Change

This is our home and their is a lot going on inside. I am trying to organize my home and in the process organize me. I am going to try and put a little more effort in my home and children and a lot less in excuses. I am tired of running late to church because I forgot where I put the tags to check the kids in so I emptied all my purses and diaper bags and organized them into 1 purse and 1 diaper bag. I want to stop the excuses of why I am not in better shape or healthy. I want to exercise more and not feel guilty that the house is not clean. I want the morning to go smooth so I am trying to get the kids more organized the night before. I want to spend more time teaching M&M. I want to be able to just sit and watch a movie without eyeing the pile of Anything that needs to be done. I want to have a better quality time with my God because he does not deserve my excuses. This is not a new years resolution but a new life resolution.

K - I love your heart. I love how you are always able to keep your priorities straight - God, Husband, Children, etc. This morning I am reminded of Proverbs 31 - A wife of noble character who can find..her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also and he praises her. My prayer for you is that you can find the right balance for your family and that you don't work so hard to get the pile of things done that you fall asleep during the movie - Love you - Aunt C.

GO KIM! I WISH I WOULD HAVE HAD YOUR ATTITUDE WHEN I WAS YOUNG, WHEN I WAS PLOWED UNDER WITH THINGS TO DO AND OUT NUMBERED. I THINK YOU ARE GOING TO DO ALL THESE THINGS--GET THE WHOLE FAMILY IN ON THESE IDEAS.LOVE YOU --GRAM

You can do it, some of the things that helped me when the kids were growing up was, backpacks next to the door the night before. Make a check list for each to check, do we have homework, lunch money, and their shoes next to the back pack the night before. Have them pick out what they are wearing the night before..same with church When they are gone to school make a list of things to do each day, ie.. clean bathroom on Monday, Kitchen on tuesday etc.. then just quick wipe ups or pick ups in between. Don't try to do everything in one day. If something comes up to and you can't stick to the schedule, just
skip it and do it the next week. You are doing quick pick ups through out the week ,it will be okay. Have everyone help also, if someone got something out they have to put it away before bed. take 30 mins each night to get the next day ready, and for quick pick ups. I would not do my hobbies or my favorite things to do each day until I did my chore list and the quick picks, then I did my thing and I could relax.... I also made my dinner plans in the morning so I would know what I was fixing.. take the meat out of freezer, so it would be thawed by the after noon.. hope it helps, I'm still trying to get everything in order and I don't have all the work you have with small children.. Love you
